Winged eyeliner is my absolute favorite. Probably every day I wear it. I feel like it makes my eyes bigger.
It is really simple to do this look. All you need is a good eyeliner, I always use my e.l.f eyeliner marker, it’s waterproof and lasts throughout the day, my Falsie’s mascara, and a pretty red eye shadow.
I started by putting a nudish pink eye shadow all over my eyelid (it’s the second down from the top) with my MAC 239 brush. Then I put the red (very bottom one) in my crease and blended it out with my MAC 286 brush. Just to let you know, this MAC blending brush is amazing, by far the best blending brush I’ve used. It’s worth the price. Anyways, after the red eye shadow I put a little bit of the pink/nude right under my brow to highlight. I also used the 239 brush with some of the red on the tip and swiped it under my eye.
After eye shadow I started with the eyeliner. I always draw my wing first, it’s just easier for me. Flick up a line like your going to connect your outer corner of your eye with the end of your eyebrow. Then fill it in and connect it to a line over the rest of the lid. The e.l.f eyeliner marker is great for winged eyeliner because it is like a marker and easy to draw with. You don’t have to worry about it being too liquidy or not dark enough, it’s perfect.
Once you have the eye shadow and eyeliner done, you’re ready for mascara. Falsie’s is another one of my favorites, thick and waterproof lashes are wonderful. I only put mascara on the top lashes because it makes the eyes appear smaller, to me, to put it on the bottom lashes too with this look. Overall, this look is very simple and you can switch out the eye shadow color to make it look different.
