These past few weeks have been very crazy for me. With Christmas, New Year’s, work, and personal things I’d rather not share, I’ve barely had time to blog. Oh and on top of that, I’m sick. Not a great way to start off a new year. So, since I am all about positivity and what not, I put together a list of my New Year’s resolutions. Each one is a big goal for me and I will do everything I can to make these things happen. Here’s the list.
Eating healthier is something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. I started to food prep so I have easy and fast meals I can eat. Usually during my days I will lose track of time and quickly make something like a corndog or bagel bites to eat before work. Then I get off work at 8pm and come home and not feel like cooking anything so I go to McDonalds or make something fast like pasta. I’ve gotten into this habit and it’s time to drop it. I want to stop eating McDonald’s and drinking soda. I stopped drinking soda for 5 months 2 years ago and never felt better. I’m going to try and go longer than 5 months this time.
I want to start working out, even if it’s only walking half a mile every couple days. One workout I really want to do is the Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide to get toned. The results are amazing. Check it out.
I recently changed the name of my Etsy shop to Mutts & Retrievers. I am going to be selling dog leashes, collars, and more things dog related. A goal of mine is to make a website for it and eventually sell items off the website.
Another one of my goals for the new year is to rent a space at a local flea market to sell my dog leashes, collars, and other handmade things.
I live in a state that has a plethora of state parks. I plan on visiting a lot of them and learning about Florida more. Along with seeing the state parks, I want to travel out of state and go to places like California and New York City.
I just started school again. I’m a full time college student and I want to focus on ending this semester with all A’s. I’m going for a business degree to help me own my own business one day.
Paying my dad back for my car has been a goal of mine for a while. He’s done so much for me and I need to pay him back. Owning my own car will be a big win for me and something to brag about.
These are my resolutions for 2015 and I hope to succeed at every one of them. It may not seem like a lot but it is to me.
