While watching my sister cook one night she did something to her chicken I would have never thought to do. She sprinkled it with peanut butter powder. Peanut butter powder is peanuts that are slow-roasted then pressed to remove the oil. It is all natural with no artificial flavors, sweetners, or preservatives. I used the brand PB2, it’s my favorite. This added a unique flavor to the chicken and it tasted delicious.
- Chicken breasts
- Powdered peanut butter – PB2
- Soy sauce
Cut up the chicken breasts into small bite size pieces. Put the chicken in a skillet on the stove at medium/high heat. Next sprinkle the chicken with the powdered peanut butter. I sprinkled the powdered peanut butter on the chicken while it was in the skillet but you can do this before. Add a good amount of soy sauce to the chicken while it’s in the skillet. Mix it around and let it cook. Cut a piece of the chicken in half to see if it’s cooked on the inside. Once it’s done cooking take the chicken out and your done.
This is an easy-peasy recipe. Add some rice and broccoli to the chicken and you’ve got a meal.
I started to meal prep and put my chicken, white rice, and broccoli into plastic containers to put them in the freezer. If you want to eat one of the frozen meals just put it into the fridge the night before and heat it up in the microwave.
