Ingredients
  1. 4 smashed bananas
  2. 1/3 cup melted butter
  3. 1 cup sugar
  4. 1 tsp vanilla
  5. 1 egg, beaten
  6. 1 1/2 cups flour
  7. 1 teaspoon baking soda
  8. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  9. 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Mix mashed bananas with butter then add the sugar, egg, and vanilla. In a seperate bowl, mix the baking soda and salt in with the flour then add it to the wet mix gradually until it is blended. Pour the mixture into a loaf pan that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Add the chocolate chips on top and push them down with a knife until they are covered with batter (they will sink down). Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Poke a knife in the bread to see if it's done cooking. The knife should come out clean.
Notes
  1. Makes one large loaf or one medium and two small.
  2. Heat a leftover splice up for 10 seconds in the microwave for chocolate gooey goodness.
  3. You can also put butter on a splice with an extra bit of taste.
