While scrolling through the pages of Raelynn’s Boutique, I kept dreaming of going on vacation and packing a bag filled with their clothes. They have some gorgeous pieces like these striped shorts, this lace duster, and especially this cold shoulder top. With summer coming up, I’m so tempted to take a vacation somewhere tropical. All of these pieces would be perfect. I love shopping specifically for vacation wear, it’s a blast. But let’s talk about the pieces I’m wearing in this post, starting with this off-the-shoulder top. How freaking gorgeous is it? The color is perfect, it’s comfortable, and it’s easy to wear. I’m really digging the pirate vibe I’m getting from it too.
Next up is the jumpsuit everyone needs. I am such a fan of a well-made jumpsuit and this one is just that. I can’t figure out what I love more; the high neck, the open back (with bow), or the wide leg pants. Oh and it has pockets! This jumpsuit makes me want to go on a cruise and dance all night and I don’t even know how to dance. I’m obsessed with it and so is my Mom. She saw me wearing it and immediately said she wanted one for herself.
WHAT TO WEAR: Cruise
I’ve been on my share of cruises and found that bikinis and coverups are what you will wear most often. Besides those, you’ll opt for a few nicer pieces to wear to dinners or shopping around.
WHAT TO WEAR: Road Trip
While I already have the perfect road trip outfit, found here, I thought I’d include this one since road trips are a lot of people’s go-to vacations. Comfort wins over everything else on a road trip. You also want shoes you can easily slip on and off during pit stops.
WHAT TO WEAR: Tropical Destination
Let’s be real, tropical destinations are my absolute favorite types of vacations. They are super relaxing and make for the perfect time to just unwind. I love taking family trips to the Florida Keys, which we do pretty often.
WHAT TO WEAR: The City
City trips can be a whole lot of fun! Discovering new places in a new city can be a whole different kind of experience. On my last city trip to Atlanta, Georgia it was very windy and we did a whole lot of walking. Wearing comfortable and supportive shoes is a must in any big city, as well as toting along a jacket. Also carrying a bag that won’t break your shoulder is key. Take it from me, you don’t want to be lugging around your DSLR camera and the rest of your junk in a purse on your shoulder. It hurts. Instead, try a backpack.
