Beach hair is something I love to rock. It always looks effortless and perfectly wavy. Achieving the “beach look” can be hard without actually going to the beach unless you have the Hask Hawaiian Sea Salt Beach Texture Collection. The collection consists of:
- Hawaiian Sea Salt Beach Texture Shampoo
- Hawaiian Sea Salt Beach Texture Conditioner
- Hawaiian Sea Salt Makin’ Waves Texture Spray
All of these products are available at Ulta. They are also free of: sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten and artificial colors. All of the yucky things I hate.
Get The Look
For my beach waves, I start off by shampooing and conditioning with the Beach Texture products. Then I curl my hair with a 1.5″ curling wand. Every other group of hairs I curl, I curl the opposite way. So the first bits on each side of my face I curl away from my face and the the next sections I curl towards my face and just keep interchanging. I use 1.5″ because it doesn’t add too much curl, it’s pretty much just a wave, especially since my hair is short. Once I’m done curling I brush out my hair then spray it with the Makin’ Waves Texture Spray and scrunch it a bit.
Don’t spray too much because then your hair will feel verrrry salty. Seriously, this spray feels just like it would if you went swimming in the ocean and let your hair dry like that. It’s the closest thing to beach hair in a bottle that I’ve ever used, and I’ve used a good amount of beach sprays.
When I do my beach waves, they usually last for two days (sometimes three).
Can we take a second to admire the coloring of the bottles? They are the prettiest blue and sand colored combo. The products actually SMELL like the beach/ocean too!
On another note, I bought a new lens and I’m IN LOVE. I’ve been wanting a wide angle lens for a loooong time and I finally got one. All of these photos in this post were taken with it and if you are in the market for one I recommend the Tokina 11-16 f1.8.
