Florida fashion usually consists of bikinis, sun dresses, and shorts most of the year. When fall comes around, it can be nice to pretend the weather gets cooler even if it doesn’t. If you’re stuck in a place that is sunny all year, there are a few things you can wear to feeeel the season. But if you are in a colder place, these could also work for you!
Some of those things are hats, sweaters, and booties. I’m sharing some of my favorites of each in this post below.
Since you don’t want to get too hot, it’s smart to pair a sweater with some shorts or a mini skirt. These shorts from Billabong have been my go-to recently because of how comfortable they are. Seriously, the softest pair of denim I own. I love that they have the lace up too, it’s nautical and a fun touch.
I’m loving hats for fall, especially the fisherman cap style. There are so many different hats and caps you can wear in fall though. You mainly see felt floppy hats but this season it’s all about mixing it up and wearing cooler styles. Above are some I have my eye on!
This sweater isn’t too thick and I love the criss cross neck, it’s different. A good sweater can take you on endless fall adventures. Opt for a neutral tone that can be worn with many different things like jeans, some Burgundy pants, or a pair of thigh high boots.
I reallllly love bell sleeves on sweaters right now. Actually I really love 60s and 70s style right now and bell sleeves fit into that era. I need to add more bell sleeves and pants to my wardrobe, stat.
Booties, booties, booties. I adore all of the booties above, but I have to say the yellow and black floral ones are my favorite! If only they were in my budget.
I’m also digging white booties and will be getting a pair asap.
