Taking a break from the fall looks, I decided to opt for a more summery look on this hot day. Enter, the deep plunge dress. I bought this one from T.J. Maxx but I’ve linked a bunch of similar options in this post. Plunging necklines can be pretty hard to wear however. I never thought I’d be able to pull them off but I’ve figured out some tips that I’d love to share.
Fashion tape works great to keep the fabric stuck to you so that if you bend over or it gets windy, your top won’t show all your goodies. I’m actually wearing it with this dress. Just put it on the inside edge of the dress so that it sticks to your skin. Another thing I recommend is breast tape since it’s awfully hard to wear a real bra without it being completely seen.
With all that space on your chest, you might as well accessorize it! I love the look of a long layered necklace with a plunging neckline. It fills the space and makes the outfit look whole. I actually made this necklace using a chain like this and a shark tooth charm.

Now to chat a bit about this gorgeous ring!
It’s from Anjolee and I got to customize it. All of their pieces can be customized according to preference of metal type, diamond size, diamond/gemstone quality, and length/size. Anjolee offers all kinds of jewelry though, not just rings. One thing I think is unique is that you can get a silver and cubic zirconia replica of their engagement and wedding rings. So if you are lucky enough to receive one of the two (or both) from Anjolee, then you can get a replica to wear during risky activities. You wouldn’t want to loose a ring while swimming in the ocean or skydiving, now would you? Nope!
The best part about Anjolee is that they have an environmentally friendly manufacturing process. They have very strict regulations on waste recycling to ensure there is zero unnecessary waste. All waste that is created during the production cycle is filtered so only a clean discharge goes back to the environment. The remaining is sent to refining, or recycled to be used again.
For my ring, I went with the eternity band with topaz gemstones. I love matching my jewelry to my outfit so this ring was nothing short of perfect to pair with this blue dress. Since most of my closet is blue, I’ll have no problem matching it over and over again.
Oh and I can’t forget to mention the bell sleeves on this dress! I love the hippie/boho/70s vibe of bell sleeves. They make a dress or top so much more gorgeous.
