It’s football season and while that may not mean anything to some of you, to me it means showing team spirit. I may not watch every single game but I do love showing support for the team I love. Finding the perfect outfit to wear on game day is always fun and there are so many different types of looks you can put together. My personal fave is a glam look.
Although I’m from Florida, born + raised, I’ve been an Ohio fan since birth. My parents are from Akron and my Dad is a die-hard Buckeye, Indians, and Cavs fan (sometimes Browns but that’s another story). And guess what? My boyfriend Willie is the same. When we met, we bonded over the Buckeyes. His story is the same as mine though. Born in Florida with parents from Ohio. Our first date was actually to an Indians game!
Get The Look
This look is the perfect amount of glam. I love how classy but fun it is and how it can be replicated for any team. Just get a different top and choose an accent color to get the booties and earrings in. If it’s hot, substitute the jeans for a pair of denim shorts. Dooney & Bourke has a pretty large range of NCAA printed bags, purses, and wallets. For makeup, I like to keep it simple since game day colors are usually more on the overwhelming side. A nice nude, matte lip is perfect. Or you can go bold with the lip and simple with the eyes. For hair, I like to either have a bun or braid. You can make your braid more “glam” by adding in a few streaks of the L’Oréal Paris Colorista 1-Day Spray in a coordinating color to your team. Scroll down to see some streaks I put in my Mom’s hair!
Spicy Blush | It’s the perfect shade of pink, seriously.
Tongue Tied | A nude matte to wear with pretty much any outfit.
Liquid Venom | A bold, statement lip to shine. It’s perfect for a holiday look too.
These products would make perfect stocking stuffers or gifts for friends. I love the Infallible line from L’Oréal Paris, every product I’ve tried has been amazing. The Pro-Matte Foundation is one of my favorite foundations ever! Definitely get your hands on at least one item from the line and tell me what you think.
