Mermaid; the mythological creature that every girl wants to be. They swim, live, and breathe the sea. For all of you sea lovers out there that long to be mermaids, you can get a step closer by smelling like it.
When I first heard about Mermaid Perfume a few years ago, I absolutely loved the idea behind it. I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to actually try it but I’m so glad I finally got the chance. Mermaid products are made in sunny Los Angeles. Being sulfate-free, enriched with botanical extracts and essential oils, it entices me even more. Having colored hair, I use shampoos without sulfate to make the fading of color less likely. The products are also made without paragons and are cruelty-free!
The pretty packaging can makes you want to put the products on display, making a bathroom shelf look perfect.
Among the scents are unique mixtures that each capture the smells of the beach. My favorite is tied between No1 and No3.
No1 | Orange Blossom + Coconut
This scent reminds me of the greenery surrounding the beach. Fresh blooming flowers and coconuts from a nearby palm tree are what I instantly think about each time I smell it.
No2 | Coconut + Vanilla
Creamy vanilla mixed with a hint of coconut. This scent reminds me of a beach picnic.
No3 | Ocean
Three is all about the ocean. It smells of salty air. Definitely leaving you feeling like you just swam in the ocean.
Whether you have long or short hair, you can get mermaid hair in just one wash. I’ll be sharing a tutorial soon of how I achieve my loose mermaid curls. It helps to use one of these shampoos though! I always finish my look off with a spray of the perfume to remind me of the beach, even if I’m nowhere close to it. It’s the small things.
If you want to get even more in touch with your inner mermaid, Mermaid Perfume offers more products than just perfume and shampoos. They have conditioners, body oils, hair sprays, shine sprays, and even candles.
Tell me in the comments if you’ve tried Mermaid products before and if not, what scent would you want to try?
