Anyone else obsessed with overalls? They are so easy to throw on and go. They make a statement without trying.
This pair from Clayton has a very 70s vibe to me. The crop flare bottoms, the long back straps, and the simple front all come together to create the perfect, most flattering pair of overalls. Usually overalls can feel too relaxed or a bit dumpy (for lack of a better word). This pair could be dressed up and worn to a nice event or dinner which makes them very versatile.
My favorite types of tops to pair with overalls are long sleeves and patterns. Wearing one or the other (or a combination) looks great. The top makes a statement while also allowing the overalls to shine. I usually opt for a top with only one or two colors and nothing more.
When it comes to overalls, it can be hard to find a pair that fit well and work for you. Keep in mind the main things you like about a pair of overalls and look for those things when shopping. Do you want a pair that is tight around the waist? Do you want the straps to button or buckle? How many pockets?
Sometimes you might find the best pair while thrift shopping, or simply this pair from Clayton. 😉
