Certain items can make traveling so much easier and more enjoyable. I’ve been traveling with a few certain things lately that I can’t image leaving home without now. Each one is important in its own way and I know some of these will help some of you on your travels or even in everyday life. So let’s give thanks for products that make life easier and keep reading to hear my holy grail travel products!
First up is the Stasher bag. No longer do you need to use a plastic baggie for your liquids or toothbrush when traveling (or for daily life). I seem to always have the problem of my liquids opening or spilling in my bag when traveling, especially on planes, and then the plastic bag they are in is ruined. These Stasher Bags are my new best friend because you can throw them in the dishwasher to clean them and they come in different colors and sizes.
Airplanes can be incredibly drying and if you don’t bring enough water with you, you’ll easily get dehydrated. Having a lip balm of some kind is vital so why not treat your lips to a mask on the way to your destination?
Afraid of dirty sheets, airplane seats, or just want a quick blanket? Then these are for you. I used one of these on my Hawaii trip since we stayed in Airbnb‘s, not knowing if the sheets are actually clean. Brave Era sheets are 100% silk and about the size of your phone when folded up into the bag and only weigh about 6 ounces. Also hypoallergenic, which is perfect for me with all my allergies. These are so comfy you’ll get a good night’s rest anywhere. They’re twin size and sort of like a sleeping bag, only in sheet form with no zipper. Each sheet has a built-in pillow pocket so you can even slip a pillow inside.
In Hawaii, it’s common for homes to not have any air conditioning. On the hot nights, I wasn’t hot at all thanks to the natural fibers in the Brave Era sheets that absorb and releases body heat. You can also treat your sheet to protect against bedbugs and disease-carrying mosquitoes, perfect if you’re camping.
I just really love how it folds up so tiny so you can take it on any trip, even if you’re only bringing a small bag.
If you’re worried that there won’t be wifi wherever you’re going, invest in a Skyroam Solis. This little gadget allows you to have 4G LTE wifi wherever you are. At only $9 for a day, you can pay only for what you use without having to sign any contracts. You can also connect up to 5 devices at once so your friends will be thanking you. I wish I had this on my Hawaii trip because I needed wifi to do some work and didn’t have it.
Skyroam Solis is more than just a hotspot though, it’s a power bank! Yes, you can charge your gadgets with it. So it’s pretty much the perfect travel companion. For all my international travelers, it has unlimited wifi in over 130+ countries with no SIMs needed so you don’t have to stress. The Solis also has 16+ hours of battery life so you won’t have to worry about charging it while trying to get work done, unless you are a crazy person and work longer than 16 hours at a time. In that case, maybe you should do some more traveling.
I’ve always wanted to go work at the beach and lay in the sand while writing blog posts but there’s no wifi at the beach. I’m so happy I have the Skyroam Solis so I can make that dream possible now. Let’s all work at the beach!
Next is the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. Feel like you always have chapped lips? Me too! I use this lip mask every night before bed and it actually heals instead of just covering up chapped lips. I was a slave to vaseline before and it never did the job. With this stuff, it heals and leaves lips smooth and super soft. It’s enriched with vitamin C and antioxidants, without parabens or phthalates.
All my photographer friends out there, you need these!!! KUVRD has stepped the game up with these universal lens caps. They stretch and can fit 99.9% of lenses, having a stretch range of 60mm to 150mm. It’s element proof so it protects your lens against water, dirt, dust, and sand. It also is shock absorbent so you don’t have to freak about a dropped lens. You can even use two KUVRD lens caps and put one on each side of you lens when it’s not attached to your camera to have super protection!
These are a must for traveling, especially if you are putting any camera gear in your carry on suitcase or checked bag. I don’t know about you but I really want to protect my expensive things.
A teeny deodorant that fits anywhere! It’s the size of an EOS lip balm and I always have it on me. I don’t usually wear deodorant because I don’t smell unless I’m wearing a tank top in the heat. Weird, I know. So if I ever need it while out and about or want a refresh, I like to have this on me.
It’s great for traveling because of it’s small size. I like to apply it on the plane or right after getting off and it’s a quick way to feel refreshed and clean. I have the green one, Cool Waterlilly, and it smells SO FREAKIN’ GOOD!
I wish you happy travels on your next trip and if you buy any of these items, let me know how they work for you. If you have any travel products you swear by, leave a comment below so I can check them out too!
