I am always losing my sunglasses. I don’t know how many I’ve bought throughout the years and lost. Right now I have one good pair and three cheapies just in case. I already lost two of the cheapies but just found them again and now I am trying my hardest not to lose them. I thought an easy way to keep my sunglasses all in one place would be to make this adorable framed holder. It’s decorative too so I can hang it in my room and it won’t be an eye sore.
It’s so easy to make. All you need is:
- A hot glue gun
- $8 wooden frame (found at Michael’s)
- Hemp string
- Spray paint to make it match your room. I used a metallic silver found at Joann’s.
First, you want to spray paint the wooden frame. Outside, of course. It was night time when I spray painted it so I had to stop and take a quick picture inside.
Next you cut three pieces of hemp string that will fit the width of the frame.
Hot glue those pieces. Spread them out equally on the frame. Then let it dry.
That’s it! Now you can hang your sunglasses on the strings and never lose them ever again. Now I just need to find the rest of my sunglasses to hang them up…
