Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers. They are bright and cheery. And guess what? They are the perfect flower to add to your room to brighten it up. Sunflowers, in my opinion, go with everything. I’ve put together a tutorial of how to make these adorable sunflower balls that you can hang in your room or use for party decorations.
What you need:
100 fake sunflowers (for each ball)
Styrofoam balls (I used 3)
Hot glue gun
This is a really simple DIY and pretty much fool proof. Just don’t burn yourself with the hot glue and you’ll be fine!
First, get your supplies together and start by taking one styrofoam ball and a sunflower and put hot glue on the tip of the sunflower then press it into the styrofoam ball. The flowers push into the styrofoam, the hot glue just keeps them there.
Now repeat that process about a hundred more times until the styrofoam ball is covered in sunflowers.
Then take a piece of the string, cutting it at the length you want it to hang from the ceiling, and tie it to one sunflower. Put hot glue around where you tied it and then glue on the tip of the flower and poke it into the ball like how you did the rest of the flowers.
These little sunflower balls are such a cute addition to any room.
