Do It Yourself projects are fun for everyone. Some are simple and some require more skill. I love DIYs and I’m constantly scrolling through Pinterest looking for more ideas. There are just so many things you can create. I put together a list of my 5 favorite DIY projects from Pinterest. Here they are!
First off, just look at how gorgeous this skirt is! It’s from A Pair & A Spare and I am making it sometime soon for sure. Well, as soon as I figure out how to work my sewing machine, haha. Skater skirts are my favorite style of skirts and this one is in that style. Plus, it’s pink. The tutorial for this scuba skirt is very detailed so it looks like it is pretty easy to make. When you go look at this tutorial, be sure to check out her others. Geneva, from A Pair & A Spare, has a ton of amazing DIYs.
This DIY No Sew Beach Tote screams my name. The stripes, the rope handles, and everything about it are my style. Since I have a ton of rope sitting around from making dog leashes, this beach tote is defiantly next on my to make list. Check out the full instructions on Homey Oh My!
This is one DIY I have made and it’s from Love Grows Wild. It’s so simple but adds so much to your bathroom or kitchen. I made these nifty little mason jar soap dispensers for all of my bathrooms. They add that perfect touch of country and also are refillable.
4. Bottle Lamp
I love, love, love this lamp! As soon as I find a bottle like the one from this DIY, I will make it into a lamp. I mean, how could you not be obsessed with this lamp? It’s nautical and very clean looking. It would look perfect in my house! See the tutorial on The Inspired Room.
Last but certainly not least, this sand footprint keepsake is a favorite DIY of mine from Paging Fun Mums. How awesome is this? You can use sand to make a keepsake of your own footprints! From now on, whenever I travel to a new beach I am going to bring home a jar of sand and make this cute little keepsakes. Although mine will probably have paw prints in them. 😉
