Sweet summertime is here and it’s time to get into beach mode. There are ways you can get into the mode without wearing a swim suit and going to the beach everyday, although we all wish this could be our everyday, lets be real. By wearing pieces that remind you of the beach, you can feel laid back and coastal. I fell in love with this crop top as soon as I saw it in Forever 21 with its seashells, fish, and good vibes. It was too cute to pass up. For bottoms, I wanted to go with casual drawstring shorts that are just plain comfy. It was a bit windy and not as hot as usual so I wore a chambray shirt over top but on a super hot day I’d just wear the crop top and shorts.
Now let’s talk tracheas. I just wanted to let any of you who have pups who pull hard on their leashes while out for a walk to know about these harnesses that don’t damage your dogs trachea. Whenever I had a regular harness or collar on Gunner and he would pull on the leash, he would choke himself and cough his little throat out. Trachea collapse is a big problem in small dogs and I suggest researching it to figure out all the ways you can prevent it. One way is a better harness. I bought this Gooby harness on Amazon after doing some research and I love it! Gunner no longer chokes or coughs when he pulls on the leash and he actually doesn’t even pull as hard as he used to with other harnesses and collars. Plus, it has a “G” on it that I like to say is for “Gunner” but its just the brand name. The only bad thing about this harness is that if Gunner backs up really hard he can slip out of it. He’s only done it twice but is usually a good boy about it. I just thought I’d share this harness in case any of you have a pulling dog problem. And if you have any tips on how to completely stop your dog from leash pulling, please let me know, I’m sick of Gunner walking me.
