Today I am going to share a beauty product I was able to try recently from Exuviance. It’s their performance peel for skin. Since receiving it I have only tried it twice since it advises to use only twice a week. From the two times I’ve used it I can’t really see a difference yet so I will have to give an update after using all of the peels in the kit. You’re supposed to see results after 5 weeks. The box includes 12 peels plus a test peel to see how sensitive your skin will be. So it is a 6 week supply in total. If you’d like to try these peels out, you can purchase them here for $77 on Exuviance’s website.
Using the Peel
This peel is super easy to use. It’s only 2 steps! Starting with a clean face, you just use the pad in “Step 1” and apply it all over your face. It applies a clear activator product that becomes a bit sticky, I’d suggest wearing your hair up and out of your face. I’ve never used a peel so I really had no idea what to expect, I thought it would make my skin start to peel honesty, but that’s not how it works. The first few seconds after wiping the pad on my face, it did itch and burn a little but that immediately went away. I have very sensitive skin so it was to be expected. After 10 minutes of letting the product sit on your face, you just wipe “Step 2” on your face. This is another pad and it neutralizes the product. After, just rinse with water and apply moisturizer of your choice! It really is that easy! After doing the peel, my skin does feel smoother and softer. The best part about this peel though? You don’t have to just use it on your face. You can use it on your body, chest, neck, and the back of your hands. All of which is pretty awesome.
What It Does
- Refines pore size
- Visibly diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
- Improve clarity & brightness
- Smooths skin texture
- Provides a healthy glow
- Exfoliates dead & dull surface layers
The peel contains a 25% blend of Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) and Polyhydroxy Acids (PHA) including Glycolic Acid, Mandelic Acid and Gluconolactone. Basically a bunch of stuff to encourage cell renewal to make way for new, healthier cells.
Exuviance has many other products on their website that look good too! I really want to try their Brightening Bionic Eye Crème to target my dark circles under my eyes. Whatever I do, however much I conceal, I feel like my dark circles always peep through. I’m also interested in their makeup products which have antioxidants, SPF, and polyhydroxy acids. It’s never too early to protect your skin from wrinkles and keep it as healthy as you can! To see more of Exuviance’s products, be sure to visit their website at www.exuviance.com.
I’ll include an update either on my blog, Instagram, or Facebook after my 6 weeks to share if I’ve noticed any differences in my skin, so be sure to follow along! Trying new products is something I enjoy because you never know when you’ll come across a product you love. With their being so many different products on the market for different uses, it can be hard to know which to get. Sometimes you just have to try new things and then you’re bound to find a favorite. Having a blog has allowed me to try new products that I end up purchasing for myself as soon as I run out because I love them so much!
