Jeans on the beach, never thought I’d be “that” person, LOL. This day in particular was extremely windy and not so warm. The past 4 days (minus yesterday) have been raining nonstop and I’ve been craving outdoor time. So yesterday when the sun finally made its way out, I had a quick little beach trip for about 30 minutes to shoot some new content. Here is the first of that!
This super pretty lace top is from Romwe and I think it’s a new favorite of mine. We all know I’m a sucker for lace (or if you didn’t, you know now). This top is great for sunny weather because it’s breathable and light. The best part is I can go braless and you can’t even tell. Romwe has some very cute (and cheap) finds, including my absolute favorite tee.
I can’t get over that shadow from the lace crop top!! So gorgeous. I’m also wearing a few rings from Brosway Italia, more of which can be found in this post. That blue ring is my favorite. You can’t go wrong with a blue ring.
Pairing something delicate and feminine with something more rugged is something new to try. This lace crop top and these jeans pair well, in my opinion, because of the differences. This top also looks great with a pair of skinny jeans, a white skirt, or some green shorts!
GET MY LOOK
Before signing off for the day, I want to mention a new Instagram account I’ve started called @TheDriftingBlonde. I’ll be sharing my tropical photography, travels, and how to save the ocean! I care so much about our beaches and marine life. I’m so sick of all of the trash that I find when I go to the beach so I started the hashtag #ThrowItOutThursdays to encourage beach cleanup. Every Thursday I’ll share of photo of trash I’ve picked up to promote others to cleanup and share photos as well. Every once in a while I’ll be picking a favorite from the hashtag and doing a giveaway to reward someone for cleaning up trash!
Here are some items from my latest cleanup. I found all of these items within a 3 foot radius during the photoshoot for this blog post. It hurts my heart that we’ve let it get this way.
