Show Me Your Mumu is a brand filled with gorgeous prints and the cutest designs. On the other hand (or foot) is Tory Burch, known for the double T logo. I stumbled upon this dress and these sandals separately and realized they match so well that I should wear them together. I love matching my outfits with accessories and this was just too perfect.
I used to hate wedge flip flops with a passion because I thought they were so corny and pointless. Honestly, they still are both of those things to me but I dig them now. But only when they are designed in a trendy way, like these ones. They aren’t overwhelming, the wedge isn’t too out there and the print is adorable. Tie-dye has been on my radar a lot lately and I think it’s perfect for summertime. Give me a blue and white tie-dye piece of clothing and I’ll wear the heck out of it. Or anything blue for that matter.
I wanted to match in other aspects of this outfit as well so going with white, I made a pair of multi-layer tassel earrings and wore my favorite lace bralette. This outfit could be thrown together very easily and worn for a dinner by the ocean, a summer party, or a day of shopping. Everything about it is comfortable, which is something I always want in an outfit.
They key to matching is to not overwhelm the print you plan to match. Since the print on the shoes was only on the soles, it went well in my outfit. If I work booties in the same print then it might be overwhelming. Accessorizing should be kept simple and minimalistic when matching bigger items too.
