Have you ever tried to wear a skirt or dress on a windy day? It’s nearly impossible to not flash everyone in sight if you don’t hold it down. You are constantly worried about holding your dress down so that it doesn’t fly up in a strong gust. WELL, a woman named Christina Dunn was sick of it and created a clever little solution called Dress Weights. The perfect clothing hack.
Dress Weights are small adhesive 0.5 ounce weights that stick to the interior hem of your skirt, dress, or whatever you don’t want to fly up. Then you are free to run, twirl, or walk around without a worry of having a Marilyn Monroe moment. It’s probably the most genius thing since sticky bras.
You don’t notice the Dress Weights are even there while wearing them. They are lightweight but also weigh just enough. Plus, you can’t see them. I wore a pretty thin dress on this day and the material was on the edge of see-through. I placed the weights on the bottom of the side seam and they were unnoticeable.
Ready to hear the best part? They are reusable! Thanks to the card that comes with them, you can just stick them on it until you are ready to use them again.
