Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the craftiest of them all? We all can be! Sorry for the corniness but seriously, you can make this mirror no matter what skill level. Take a plain mirror and one-up it with flowers to make it into something beautiful. I seem to always have extra mirrors laying around since I change my decor up a lot. I thought about getting rid of this white mirror since I thought it was too plain and I didn’t really have a place I wanted to put it. But my plans changed when I remembered I had a bunch of fake flowers. The idea came together and I am in love with my new mirror!
For this DIY, it’s almost too simple I debated making this post. I decided yes because it turned out so beautiful and not everyone might have the same idea. So, got an extra mirror lying around? Good, now do this to it.
- Hot Glue Gun
- Fake Flowers (mine are from Michael’s)
Pull the stems apart from the flowers. You can also pull leaves off too. This should be very easy and you shouldn’t need any pliers of tools.
Arrange the flowers on the mirror with it laying flat on the ground. Then take the hot glue gun and start attaching them to the mirror.
Optional | Get string lights and wrap them around the border of the mirror. I did this in the above photo on the left and they added a lot of extra light for doing makeup (or taking it off).
I actually used the flowers I had from my DIY Flower Wall. Since I hate throwing away craft supplies but like to change up my decor every once in a while, I hung on to them and finally found a new use, this DIY flower mirror! How do you think it turned out? Will you recreate a flower mirror for yourself?
Psst…this would look super cute in a little girls’ room!
