Weddings call for love, celebration, and an excuse to party. But with all that partying comes stress, mini freak-outs, and learning to ask for help when you need it. Thankfully, you have a few bridesmaids by your side, and a maid of honor. The best way to thank your “maids” is with a some bridesmaid gifts! Here are some ideas for bridesmaid gifts to thank them with!

Since our wedding was in Key West, Florida, I opted for more beach and pool friendly gifts for my girls. Wherever your wedding is, think of what could go great in a gift bag. For instance, having a winter wedding? A nice blanket or sweater would be perfect!
Ideas For Bridesmaid Gifts
In my bridesmaid gift bags, I included the following:
- Beach bags
- Cabana Life robes
- Slippers
- Victoria Emerson bracelets
- Personalized cups with their nicknames
- Personalized hangers
- Chocolate Sun sunscreen
- DressWeights
- Stream2Sea lotion and bodywash

I ordered these hangers from Amazon for a pack of 5 for $8. Then I used my Silhouette Cameo to make vinyl stickers of their names and mine.

I’ve been working with Victoria Emerson for a while and have collected a lot of jewelry from them. I decided to gift a bracelet to each of my girls and share the love.
I also had a bunch of Stream2Sea sample products so I included a few in each bag. The company is all about saving the oceans and I stand behind that.

I knew I wanted to include robes in my bridesmaid gift bags. I originally planned on making them but as soon as I saw these Cabana Life kimonos that are made with sun protective fabric that provides 50+ UV protection, I knew they would be perfect. These kimonos paired well with our week long wedding festivities that were mostly by the pool. The fabric is also buttery soft and quick drying.
Do I have to explain why I included slippers? Who doesn’t love or need a new pair of slippers?! Plus, I couldn’t pass up on the color.

DressWeights is another company I’ve worked with before and absolutely love! It can get windy on an island so DressWeights were pretty much a necessity. They are little weights you stick on the inseam of your dress or skirt and they hold it down should a gust of wind ever test your luck. It’s genius really and one of the best ideas for bridesmaid gifts, no matter your wedding destination.

For a tropical summer wedding, sunscreen is a necessity. I reached out to Chocolate Sun to see if they would send a few of their Shea Butter Botanical Sun Defenses. I’ve been a fan of Chocolate Sun for a long time. I’ve used their tanning creams and knew their sun defense would be perfect to include in these beach bag gifts. In case you were wondering, YES their products smell like chocolate! The Sun Defense is a natural sunscreen that is chemical free and helps to hydrate skin. I’m not one for putting chemicals on my skin that a lot of sunscreens are made up of and I didn’t want my girls to suffer either.

These pretty blue cups were from Target and I decided to add a little touch of personalization with their nicknames. Again, using my Silhouette Cameo. I used a black cup for my sister, also my maid of honor, since that’s her favorite color.
Cups are great to include in bridesmaid gift bags because they can use them during the wedding or any wedding festivities. You could customize them by giving each of your bridesmaids a cup in their favorite color or go with wedding colors. I included their nicknames but you could use their actual names, monograms, initials, or first letter of their name.
Cups would be great to include in a “Will you be my bridesmaid?” gift also! Then they would use them for the bridal shower, bachelorette party, and all the other wedding related tasks.
