This is an easy DIY bunny Easter card you can make with your kids. Easter is my favorite holiday and now I get to share it with my daughter, and next year with our second daughter! My 2 year old loved pulling the cotton balls apart and gluing them onto the bunny shaped card. It was a fun, low cost activity that sparked her interest and got her working on her skills. She also loved placing the pom pom balls on the bunny with the pipe cleaners.

This Easter bunny card is actually very easy to make. You just need some supplies which if you craft, you probably already have all of these things!
How To Make A Pop Up Easter Bunny Card
Supplies
- 1 piece of card stock (I bought 1 single sheet from Joann’s for less than a dollar)
- Cotton balls
- Black pipe cleaners
- Pom pom balls
- Orange, green, and brown construction paper
- Scissors
- Pencil or pen
- Glue
Do It
- Fold your paper in half then draw an outline of a bunny on the top and one side, making sure the left side is not cut so that it can fold like a card. Then cut out the bunny shape.
- Pull the cotton balls apart then glue them onto the front of the bunny card. *Have your kids do this part!
- Cut the pipe cleaners into whiskers and a mouth. You can fold a piece of pipe cleaner to get the scallop shape of the mouth. Then glue them on with the pom pom eyes and nose. I cut the pink pom pom into more of a triangle shape.
- For the pop up carrot, I followed the same tutorial as my pop up Christmas tree card, seen here. You can follow the directions exactly for the folding and then cut it at 2″, 2.5″, 3″, and 3.5″. Then cut a piece of green like my picture for the stem. Then cut a piece of brown to be the “dirt” that the carrot grows in. I glued the brown paper to the card then cut around the outside edges.
- Finish up the DIY Easter card with some writing. I went with a cute little saying, “Hoppy Easter. I would pick you every time!” but feel free to make it your own!

This DIY pop up bunny card is perfect for Easter and makes for a fun craft to do with your kids. I hope you enjoy making it as much as we did and have a HOPPY EASTER!

When asked who she wanted to give the card to, Ruby said “Daddy!” So you’re welcome Daddy!
